Has anyone tried building apps or prototypes for AndroidTV using Flutter? Is there any plan to provide TV specific components for the framework?

Yes, some folks have had success running Flutter on Android TV.  It's not a configuration that we're actively investing in at the moment, but we'd welcome contributions along those lines.

Running the gallery app or simple apps works fine. Of course Flutter doesn't know how to support the TV remote right now. Performance looks good, hot reloading works as well. I've tested on the Nvidia Shield TV, which of course is very powerful hardware, probably same level as an iPad Pro: https://shield.nvidia.com/store/android-tv

Hi Raju, have you had any success in developing Flutter for spatial navigation with the TV directional pad remote? That feature set still seems to be lacking from the SDK. OTT apps don't seem to be supported at this time.
