First one is that ReCap can not see the images in the import window whether I add them as 'add files' or as 'select a folder'. But when I drag those images (photos with .jpg) into the software, Recap can see them. Moreover it computes, yet in my opinion it is very fast because 105 photos are computed in 1 sec. In the end as I proceed with the project running one, I end with nothing but an empty workspace. There is nothing as I turn, zoom in or out the view. I wonder what might be the problem as I couldn't find anything one the internet.

Another one is different interface on what i have downloaded from autodesk site and what i can see in the videos also from autodesk. My software does not have an option to choose between scan or photo. There is only a "New Project" rocket and then I am at the import window described above.

Thank you for participating in our Community! Looks like you are using ReCap Ultimate which is few version behind. Current version of ReCap Pro is 4.2.2.15 which will allow you to lunch ReCap Photo to create Photo to 3D Project from ReCap Desktop application. I would suggest to updating to latest version from Autodesk Desktop Application or try downloading latest version from Autodesk.com and then applying following patches:

Are you referring to data that was available in A360 and now not in Autodesk Drive? If this is the case, you will need to migrate the data: -result/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/ENU/DRIVE-LEARNING/files/A360Retirement/DRIVE-A360-RETIREMENT-MIGRATE-html.html

Are you using the same credentials for Autodesk Drive and ReCap Photo? What happens when you click on the "View Files" icon in the project thumbnail in the ReCap photo? It should show all the files related to the project in your mounted Autodesk Drive in your windows explorer.

Yes, I'm reffering on that data ... and I migrate this A360 with multiple accounts that i have, don't know how it's possible that only one of this survived. But that is the smallest problem after all.

The one thing that give me headache is that i can not find files from new account, don't know where is that new files stored, also i did not download Autodesk Drive for desktop... don't know if that is a reason why i can't see what is inside of my autodesk drive

When you download the Autodesk Desktop Connector and log in using the credentials you use for ReCap Photo, the Autodesk Drive for desktop should automatically mount to your windows explorer. You should see a mounted Autodesk Drive there. Without Autodesk Drive on your Desktop, you will not be able to process any jobs via Autodesk Drive.

I kind of have the same issue, I have created some models on recap photo, but I can't see them in my drive. I know that they are there as I have just 8GB of memory left, and I have received emails telling me when these models were created. But I can't find them anywhere.

Hi @Anonymous, if you're on an older version of ReCap Photo that interacts A360 Drive, it's likely that your project is still on A360 Drive. Please contact support ( -support), describe your problem and mention that you need access to A360 Drive.

I mean WTF is with this Autodesk... i thought that they were reliable company, and now i saw that they does not know how to make a good product. Always bugs with this software... don't know what to think.

I try to show you a pictures... what is really happening...as you can see there is no projects visible in the area assigned for projectsthis is an upload process... it runs too slow and... i really don't know... i tell to myself WTF is now... I'm really sick of these things. This is a error after I "upload" photos... i think that photos did not uploaded to service.

Also i send you two photos additional, one of them has a quite useful advice. Maybe it will be more useful to make a software which does not complicate things too much because all this stuff, installing one thing, installing other thing, migrations from this from here to here and so on... takes time and... besides, there is whole new service on my laptop/comuputer. I did not mentioned that i had too many of them right now, without this (One Drive, Autodesk Fusion...) Autodesk Desktop Connector and Autodesk Drive...too... it is quite resourceful for technology that I own (or maybe some of us)

I'm confused because i think that Autodesk had much better solutions in the past like on-line browser in which you can view your projects, make new ones... even make some operations in project itself, but since then they complicate everything... and this continues to this day and maybe further than that...

I am experimenting with different scenarios of acquiring points such as exterior, interior which has resulted in a number of different projects created.

Now I want to delete some of these initial projects but I can not see a command in Recap that does it.

Does it have to be manually and delete the folders where projects are saved?

We've had the BLK360 since Dec 1. Good luck. Make sure you have the LATEST firmware on it, the lates Recap Mobile version on your iPAD and the Latest Recap Pro version on your desktop. Make sure you ALWAYS scan in a linear workflow fashion, otherwise you can get some major headaches

Until recently though all registration and transformation was handled by Leica's software. The BLK360 is a different beast and much more convuluted (without the lates version of Cyclone or REgister 360 )

Once you have your data registered in Recap from Downloading your BLK360 previously registered scans on the iPAD Pro with RECAP Mobile Pro and then importing using a iTUNES pass-through to RECAP import dialogue (which is in Meters by the way and in pure Scanner coordinates only)

2. We then insert our survey control into that -from a MD SPCS 2011 Grid US Ft Survey DB . This was brought in through a Point file into CAD or through an FBK from our total station of RTK (This will place the control in the right position metrically on Grid

3. Then we attached the RCP point cloud file and insert it close to the control. We then go into the cloud in orbit mode and draw Spheres on the control target right IN the scan attachedment using snap 3D.

This has seemed to maintained the integrity of the levels within the scan. [Previously trying to insert control in the RECAP portion created a lot of extra jumping in and out of photospheres while tagging control and the RCP when brought into Civil was not level at all)
