Mec E 460 Project Update

Dr. Nobes,

We have completed our three design concepts and are making good progress towards completing the phase 2 deliverables. We are sending you our concept summaries, schematics of the concepts, the updated design specification matrix, and the evaluation matrix. Concept 1 is our recommended design. We would like your feedback, concerns, or questions.

Dr. Nobes read through our concept writeup and provided some comments in the attached word document. Basically, he did not like the flow system for concept 1 as the pressure differential is very high and the fluid will be drained too quickly. He prefers the centrifugal pump. I did make the mistake of saying 50 psi in the concept writeup, whereas I had lowered it to 25 psi in the calculations.

I think it's necessary we meet him and talk more about what he likes or dislikes.
