(and apologies in advance as some of you will inevitably see this more than once.)
We are hiring a "Visiting Lecturer" as a replacement for our former "Lab Manager" position. The intent is to convert this to a permanent role in the near future. This person would teach (some) introductory labs (the rest are covered by faculty), and has the flexibility to teach lectures as needed/desired. They would serve as the point person for the intro labs curriculum and equipment, though this has always been a collaborative effort amongst the department, and we have a dedicated technician (and several other allied posts in the science center) to help with equipment.
Job ad and application is here:
Someone whose interests include research in physics/engineering education would be great in this role, but that is not a requirement. We are open to different levels of experience, and especially encourage people for underrepresented groups to apply.
Please forward this email, as this position is vital to the health of our department!
While there is no hard deadline, we will begin formally reviewing applications May 1.
Thank you for reading this far,
Kerstin

During the semester, I am teaching or in meetings almost all of the working day, and still need to find time for course preparation, grading, and research tasks. Thus, I cannot reply efficiently to most emails. Please allow 2-3 days for a response.
