Dear All,

This email is advance warning of planned downtime for FluidDB.

On Monday 15th November commencing from 10am GMT (11am Western
Eurozone, 5am EST) the main instance of FluidDB will be offline for
several hours while we roll out a major update. We'll endeavour to
keep everyone up to date via the #fluidfb IRC channel on Freenode and
will post a status report to this mailing list upon completion.

Why several hours..? This update contains some significant internal
changes, speedups and improvements that require us to process most of
the current data stored in FluidDB. This obviously takes time but will
only happen once.

What's changing..? Please see the "FluidDB: New Features" email
that'll arrive right after this one.

What about the Sandbox..? The sandbox instance of FluidDB will remain
online during the update to the main instance. However, we're planning
to update and reset the sandbox on Tuesday. Data in the sandbox will
be cleared, as usual.

If you have any comments or questions please don't hesitate to get in
touch via this list or the IRC channel.

Thank you for your continued support,

The Fluidinfo team.
