PSA: MightyText works wonderfully as a Fluid app

I tried putting MightyText inside Fluid as its own app, and it worked better than expected. If you leave the window open (or hidden), then new messages appear as native notifications. There's no slick inline replying like with iMessage, but otherwise it works well. I'd recommend trying it.
