Getting blind logs to Fluentd

Greetings,

I am trying to get named.logs for bind server into fluentd. I am thinking to do it by "forward input". I wanted to know what configuration changes would be required at VM side to define fluentd server and respective tag.

Can someone please share some insight to this.
