I've installed td-agent.
Now i can see i can install gems via ./fluent-gem and ./gem and ./td-agent agent ....
What's the difference amongst them??

Hi Gajendran,

Fluent-gem is the fluentd packaged gem installer, gem is the native Ruby installer, and td-agent is Treasure Data (Active maintainer of Fluentd) packaged Fluentd. All three commands should work for the gem or fluentd plugin you may need to install

Additional information:

- gem: rubygems command
- fluent-gem: wrapper for gem
- td-agent-gem: wrapper for fluent-gem

td-agent-gem ensures fluent-gem points to td-agent directory to avoid environment variable trouble, e.g. rvm.
