Hello,
I am total a newcomer with fluenbit at the moment - I've just installed into a RPi and processed some very basic logs with it. I'm working with IoT gateways and would be interested in learning fluentbit capabilities for more sophisticated log collection from edge devices.
I've seen that embedded Linux is at least emphasized in the history section of the fluentbit web pages. But how about the current state and future? Is is nowaways primarily a "Log forwarder for Kubernetes" and most development targeted to backend environments? I noticed in this google group that there was a survey conducted about a year ago, I wonder what kind of results you got regarding targeted use?
I thought I would quickly test if I could use fluentbit to forward my logs to Cloudwatch in Greengrass v2 environment. However I don't have the secret access key there but Greengrass utilizes X.509 and the Token Exchange Service. That didn't seem to be directly supported in the fluentbit Cloudwatch output plugin. Does someone happen to know a suggested approach how to proceed?

Kind regards,
Taneli

if you are using OpenSSL as a TLS backend it should be ok per my understanding. (note: Never tried that setup  embedded->cloudwatch)
