Hi everyone. We have been asked about changes in access procedures at FluencyBank (and all TalkBank resources).
We are now trying to track access, even to open access data, by individual user accounts. Thus, if you try to access ANY FluencyBank resources (whether password protected or open access), you will be asked to set up a FREE, individual account on TalkBank. This will enable you to use open access resources just as before. If you need authorization/reauthorization to use PASSWORD protected resources, you must request access/reauthorization ONCE by writing to either me or Brian MacWhinney (or cc to include the two of us).
As a reminder, for teaching, people should be using open access Voices Project samples, not password protected research samples.
If you have any questions, please feel free to write me,
and,
as always, we'd love to discuss possible preservation of your data at FluencyBank or discuss how you can maximize its value to your research lab by making it TalkBank compatible if it currently is not.

Kindest regards,
Nan

Dear Nan,

Thank you for the update!
Could I request access to the FluencyBank videos, especially Voices of AWS?
As I mentioned to you before, I am creating a manual with a training/assessment video to increase reliability of measurement of secondary behaviors using FluencyBank's videos from "Voices of AWS".
I will send you the finalized videos as soon as they are ready.

Also, please see the attached manual.
I'd appreciate it if you could provide any feedback if you have any.

Thank you!

Best,

Dahye

Hello!
Nan and whomever else has this email, can you remove me from this list please? This is an old email of mine with my old last name, I've returned to my maiden name Olsen. Make changes in any contacts for me, thank you! I'm going to be disabling this email fully soon.
Hope all are well!
Happy September!
Chamonix Olsen 😊

To everyone (and Brian, this is the last you get, hopefully):
If your email is new, please rejoin the mail list as you did last time, at TalkBank.org under mailing lists.
Please do not respond to the entire group if you have a problem.
Thanks.
