I just caught an error on my answer key for the multiple-choice portion of a quiz I just graded. I could make a new answer key and have Flubaroo re-grade, but I am afraid that will cause me to lose all of the painstaking 'Grade-by-hand' comments I gave to students on the writing portion of the quiz. Is there a way I can alter the answer key and re-grade the multiple-choice portion without losing all of the personalized feedback I gave when grading their writing questions by hand?

You can make a copy of the grade sheet before you do the regrading.
