Lost messages/threads.

Hmm, I saw two threads started ("How does one clear drawings?" was one). Not sure if this is a Google Groups issue, or if someone (OP?) deleted the thread after it was answered. 

IMHO, there is no need to delete anything from the list unless it is factually wrong. Google does a great job at linking to answers if folks search for an answer to a similar issue, so it's nice to keep questions and answers around. :-)

    Ya, probably the author posted it on Google Groups then deleted it,
    perhaps having figured out the answer before anyone replied.

    It's still on the mailing list and FLTK archive of the forum though,
    since deletes on Google Groups don't (can't) affect those.

    Also it doesn't help much anyway, at least to folks on the mailing list,
    who will probably reply to it anyway. Not sure how Google Groups will
    show replies to deleted messages.. it might just start a new thread or something.
