Thank you again for applying for the SCG International Internship Program in 2013. Last year, the program received numerous positive feedback from 20 participants who were selected from Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. SCG, therefore, is glad to introduce the SCG International Internship Program 2014. Application period for Indonesian and Vietnamese has just started on April 1st.
This year, applicants will need to have the following qualifications:
1. Major in
1.1 Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering. For Vietnam Instrumentation and Controls major is also applicable
1.2 Social Science: Psychology, Political Science, Social Studies
1.3 Law
1.4 Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Economics
2. Participants must be studying in their 3rd or 4th year of their study.
3. Have a good command of the English language
4. Be energetic and willing to learn
5. Can participate in the internship Program from June 16th -July 15th
Deadline of submission is April 30th, 2014

SCG International Internship Program for INDONESIA & VIETNAM is now ready for applying!!!
To celebrate its 100-year anniversary, SCG, one of the leading ASEAN conglomerates, is offering a one-month internship program to students in Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The program aims to give participants real work experience and training opportunities at SCG.
In June, 20 selected participants from INDONESIA and VIETNAM will take one month internship in Thailand. Timeline for Filipinos, Cambodians, and Myanmarese will be announced later. Participants will receive the following benefits:
• Round trip ticket from Indonesia/Vietnam-Bangkok,Thailand
• Accommodations
• 500 Baht (17 US Dollars) allowance/day
• Special Training program by SCG Human Capital Institute
• Project assignment
• Sightseeing tour of Bangkok

2. Applicants are required to complete two essays. They must be your original work and MUST have between 400-600 words. Plagiarized essays will not be scored and will be blacklisted from future SCG programs. You can find the essays’ topics below :
a. SCG's business philosophy has 4 core values (1.Adherence to fairness 2.Dedication to excellence 3.Believe in the value of the individuals 4.Concern for social responsibility) . In your opinion, which of the four do you think is the most important value in conducting business? Why? You can learn more about SCG's business philosophy at www.scg.co.th ( 400-600 words)
b. Please give us three reasons why you should be chosen for this internship. (400-600 words)
3. Deadline of submission is April 30th, 2014.
4. First-round shortlisted candidates will be contacted by May 15th for an interview
