Hey lovely ladies,

I went ahead and bought insurance from the site that Marion had shared with us from Insurance Plus. I am not the most amazing when reading and fully understanding the finer details of what to expect but this seems to work for me. I would encourage you to do more research. I bought the basic plan.

Here is the site and the information below was taken straight from their pricing gird.

Professional Liability Insurance       $2 Million per occurence

$3 Million aggregate

General Liability Insurance               $2 Million

Product Liability                                   $2 Million

Rental Damage Coverage                $100,000

General Aggregate Limit                   $3 Million

Coverage Follows You Everywhere- Yes

Lost/Stolen Equipment                       Yes - $1,000

Let me know your thoughts!

So did I and it seemed fairly straightforward and well priced. The carrier is one of the Warren Buffet companies.  While we may be eligible for the student rate there is the catch that if you are licensed at the time of application the insurance is void so on the off chance that Yoga Alliance has already processed my application for registration and it is in the mail I decided to pay the regular fee. But, if you are not applying for registration right now and want to teach the student rate is a great deal.

Thanks so much Jess.
I also did a research on it and it seems the one you mentioned below is a good one.

There's even a special offer going on:

10$ discount :)

Love, Marion

I got the insurance through yogajournal.com. It was like $190 for teaching <6 hours/week, and was the benefits plus option. It think it went up to $4M total, and $2M for an incident. Something like that.
