Octopus Plugin is a free game utility app by Octopus Gaming Studio and is an official plugin for the developer's Octopus gamepad remapper utility for mobile devices. It adds Google Play Games support and improved compatibility with some of the latest modern games available today, specifically 64-bit ones.
Octopus Plugin is an extension that you can add to the Octopus app to improve its performance when it runs all kinds of games. Apparently there are certain versions of Google Play games that aren't compatible with the Octopus app. But with this plugin, it can support 64-bit games.

Octopus Plugin is also an easy way to correct the error when you log in with a Google Play account. With this plugin, you can play most games and connect them to a controller without any hassle at all. That said, it's important to keep in mind that you need an Octopus account in order to use these new features.
This release brings the Jenkins plugin to feature parity with our TeamCity, Azure DevOps, and Bamboo Server plugins. It brings integration capabilities, including our work item and build information feature set.
Integrating your Jenkins builds with Octopus deployments is now possible without scripting it yourself or relying on the community-supported plugin. Our official plugin provides build and post-build actions similar to our other build server plugins.
The Octopus Deploy Jenkins plugin is a new release of the existing Jenkins plugin in the Jenkins plugin repository. This means that you can install or upgrade it in the same way as any other Jenkins plugin.
They all have the Octopus CLI installed, and I have confirmed this by running the octo command. TeamCity can also successfully run the command. The Octopus plugin for TeamCity successfully runs octo pack on all environments, but octo push fails on Ubuntu. It appears to cut off the end of the command when comparing the log to that of the Windows agent.
Rightly, the CLI on Ubuntu complains, telling me to Please specify a package to push. The Octopus plugin for TeamCity seems to have run a truncated command. I have attached the log output from the process for completeness.
Sounds easy I guess, but when the octopus window pops up I don't know what to do with the sliders and stuff. The Max volume is 8000 and the min sqm is 24. I tried to put those numbers in the fields beneath the generation slider, but without success.
It does look like using the *.i to increment the release version is causing some confusion within the plugin when it tries to generate the build summary. It is checking for the literal releasenumber.i instead of the incremented releasenumber.1
An issue for this has been opened if you want to track the progress: Jenkins Octopus Plugin does not handle release with version template Issue #103 OctopusDeploy/octopus-jenkins-plugin GitHub
Depending on if all you need is the Branch Name, you could potentially utilize a Push Build Information step from the Octopus plugin in Jenkins. This will include the branch name from your repository, then you can reference that build information on the package from within the deployment.
The Octopus Plugin 32bit is an extension of the Octopus Deploy platform, and it is designed to work seamlessly with the rest of the platform. When the plugin is installed, it gives additional capabilities to the OD server that allow it to manage formations to 32-bit systems. When a deployment is initiated, the OD server communicates with the target system.
It does this by using the appropriate protocol and executing the necessary stationing steps. The plugin provides additional functionality to this process, such as the ability to execute PowerShell scripts on 32-bit systems or to manage the installation of applications. The software can be configured and managed using the OD web interface and it helps to ensure that deployments are reliable, repeatable, and efficient.
It can also be included in deployment projects just like any other step in the disposal process. The entirety of the plugin is designed to be flexible and customizable, allowing you to tailor it to your specific grouping needs. However, the software may not be well-documented or well-supported, which could make it difficult for you to troubleshoot issues or implement custom configurations.
The overall experience of using Octopus Plugin 32bit can vary depending on the specific needs and requirements of the user. In general, users report a positive experience with the plugin, citing its ease of use, flexibility, and powerful capabilities as some of its key strengths. One of the benefits is that it enables organizations to manage deployments to 32-bit systems, which is critical for organizations that rely on legacy systems.
To support Google Play login and 64bit games for Octopus, you need to install this plugin.
Install this alone without Octopus won't work.
Do not uninstall this or you need to reinstall it to maintain its core function.
If Google Play login works abnormally, please click retry on the Google Play Support page in Octopus.
Plugin configurations are sets of parameters that applyacross some or all of the plugin procedures. Theyreduce repetition of common values, createpredefined parameter sets for end users, andsecurely store credentials where needed. Each configurationis given a unique name that is entered in designatedparameters on procedures that use them.
Yes it is brought through but as an attribute to the binary_sensor.octopus_intelligent_slot in the PlannedDispatches entry. It even shows how much charge will be given (I only have a trickle charger at the moment)
I have billing evidence in the past months that this was not the case but I wonder if something has now changed? megakid can you comment on this? I see that you have updated your plugin in the last few days.
Octopus Energy is a UK Energy Supplier that offers a number of Tariff's that appeal to Electric Vehicle (EV) owners, Tesla Powerwall owners (an Indigo plugin also is available for that) as well as those who may be able to shape their consumption by managing demand through home automation. This plugin was initially built to assess the viability of the Agile Tariff for my personal use. You will find more information at as well as their API (which this plugin uses) at
The really interesting thing is that this can also result in negative pricing, typically at times for example when it is windy during a period of low demand (UK has a reasonable amount of wind turbine capacity). At these times they will actually pay you to consume energy, these situations are relatively rare but it does mean you can charge you EV to store what will still be very cheap energy, even when the price is not negative. I will be using this to trigger charging my EV, using another plugin that can start and stop charging (Indigo has plugin's for a number of EV's, including in my case an I-Pace).
The plugin does not require you to make a switch to Octopus, to use it you can simply enter your postcode as the prices vary by region in the UK. The plugin can create a device that will show the current kWh price for you location (or indeed mutliple locations) , the daily standing charge, the maximum, minimum and average rates. All these device states can be graphed if you use one of the graphing plugins, you can trigger based on those values or thresholds. If you can measure your whole house demand (even manually using your smart meter in House display) you can project your savings.
The latest version of the plugin incorporates the consumption data capabilities of the API which allows you to track actual historical cost for each 30 minute period, this will only be possible for the previous 24 Hours as Octopus do not publish consumption data real time. The plugin also generates a daily electrical cost calculation by combining the rates from yesterday with your actual consumption during that 30 minutes. The plugin will optionally generate a daily CSV containing the rates for the current day, and a seperate action for yesterdays rates and consumption. The plugin works extremely well in combination with the Grafana plugin to allow extensive graphing. The latest version optimises the API access such that only 2 calls a day are made.
1) The max, min and daily average rates now reflect the current day in BST (or GMT if Daylight savings does not apply)2) Calls to the API are now optimised and limited to 2 per day3) A new device state indicates if the afternoon rate update has been applied (as the wholesale rates are published in CET, we have to wait until "tomorrows" rates are published in CET before we can determine the last hour of UK Local time which happens around 16:00. The api call automatically refreshes at 17:00 UTC/GMT or 18:00 BST to collect the extra data.4) A new function exports CSV's for both today and yesterdays rates5) A plugin level menu option allows you to dump a copy of the rates for all devices to the event log.
