Going Into Your Prayer Closet/10-30-13

I'm am putting this out there because there are so many people seem to not be getting answers to prayers.

We have to focus, we have to trust God, we have to study His Word, because in His Word is where we will find answers.

I will tell you of some trials I was having..then I will put scripture for your prayers. To God Be the Glory..amen..Love BettyB.

Our finances were terrible for years, we were getting by from pay check to pay check..and sometimes we had nothing for food..so many brothers and sisters prayed and helped us with our finances..Praise: God gave my husband the promotion he wanted at work after years of praying for it..this is where patience comes in..trusting God is our only option..He will answer on His timing..

So many times I was not hearing God..if we are not in His Word how do we know what our Lord wants us to do, we are seeing so many people sick..prayer from a righteous man is powerful, faith plays a role and truth and love is so powerful that nothing can take it away..

Jesus says for us to keep praying, for us to have faith even if its as big as a mustard seed..I know when we are waiting for a answer it seems like we are so in a hurry for that answer that we forget about the King and what He did for us..

When I get into myself, I can't hear God but when I focus on Him I can hear Him in His Word, this is where He talks to me, there is no magic and no mystery, God deserves our Love and HE deserves the Glory.

The evil one knows how close we get to God, and each time we pick up His Word the evil one makes and entrance into our emotions saying you don't have time for prayer or God's Word, and it makes that evil one mad..and when He hears our Lords name , he flees..you have to pray, you have to trust God, you have to ponder His word..if not how do we get answers..we don't..

Let's look at what Jesus says about prayer, use this to pray, use this to focus..

Matthew 21:21

Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.

Matthew 6:5-8

Prayer

⁵“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. ⁶But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. ⁷And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. ⁸Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Ephesians 6:18

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Jesus knows what we need to live, He knows we need food, we need clothes, we need a job to pay bills with the money we earn..are you tithing are you helping others..Jesus helped others..Help does not need to be giving money, help can be praying, listening, hearing and loving..then when we do, Jesus takes over and on His time, He anwers..keep your prayer closet opened until you get in and pray for the Father hears your prayers, and He will answer..Love BettyB.
