Vegetarian cook needed at Flowering Lotus

Dear Friends,

 

Flowering Lotus Meditation and Retreat Center has an opening for a competent vegetarian cook to prepare food for retreats at the center in Magnolia, MS. which is 1 1/2 hours from New Orleans.   The newly expanded center can host up to 45 retreatants.  Our retreats are usually over the weekend, though we do have a 7 day retreat in November and a 5 day retreat over New Years.  We are seeking several cooks as well as an assistant cook.  Our cooks will follow a basic guideline for types of meals to prepare with flexibility for personal creativity.  A spirit of service is essential with sensitivity towards maintaining a calm and welcoming environment to support the overal retreat environment, many of which are silent retreats.  Financial compensation is included.  If interested please contact Marilyn Yank at:  maril...@gmail.com
