Dear all,
my Amaranthus Caudatus is looking stunningly wonderful and very sturdy in the field BUT even with searing is not lasting more than a couple of days in the vase, before hanging its tassels in very sad droopiness.

OOOOhhhh what can I do to get it last a bit longer?

Thanks in advance,

Nicola

Hi Nicola,
Have you tried removing every leaf when you pick it? They don't last well with leaves intact.

Kind regards,
Clare Ashcroft

And, incidentally, don't keep them anywhere mice might find them, will eat all seeds & leave a pile of fluff in their place.
Cute. Not.
