Dear Google Groupers, -

this group is a valuable resource and is now used by over a 100 members of Flowers from the Farm, plus over 200 others who can read the messages.

So that it stays relevant, interesting and doesn't overwhelm inboxes, can you please think about your reply before hitting return to the group.

I am moderating a lot of message replies that should go directly to the person asking rather than through the group. (if you've sent a reply that hasn't shown up, that means i've moderated it)

If you are contributing to a discussion, great, keep on replying. If you are just saying thanks, please can we all presume that it is meant.

If you have been given an email in the message, - click on it, - it is a Hyperlink that will open up a new message with the email in the To: box

If you havn't been given an email, you can answer the post when in the forum by using the "reply to Author" option

If you feel you would like more guidelines about how to use the group, please read the document attached

It's really great to see the forum being used for sharing orders, and information, but please bear in mind that a lot of people get the forum sent to their email inbox. -

If you have a reply for someone that doesn't need to go to the whole group, - there is a reply to sender option.

Please read the instructions attached to this thread if you don't know how to do that.

I am struggling to find the 'reply to sender' bit.
I only get the reply arrow and no options given.

I'm replying to this from an iPad, so to reply to recipient can be done, BUT, you do have to swap to desktop version.
When you sign in to google groups, on the home page where you choose the flower growers forum, there is an underlined link to desktop the version

the google groups are no longer being supported (I.e google are no longer develloping it and don't have a team working on it) which is why we have set up a Facebook group as well.
If the functions don't work in your browser, it may be because that has been updated since the google groups were last updated. If so, please can I suggest you try another internet browser if you are having difficulties.

I have checked the settings and everyone is set to be able to reply privately, let me know if you have anymore issues.
