Free registration<http://www.ficcs.org/meetings/flowcap-2-summit/flowcap-2-registration/> now open for the FlowCAP-II Summit to be held Sept 22-23 at the NIH campus in Bethesda (Natcher Auditorium). The FlowCAP<http://flowcap.flowsite.org/> project was established to provide a mechanism to compare and contrast the utility of these novel computational approaches as applied to a common set of reference datasets. The FlowCAP-II Summit will assemble the key stakeholders in field to present and discuss the results from the FlowCAP-II competition, and to discuss how automated methods are being used to address biological questions.

The objectives of this two-day workshop are to:

. Allow developers of novel computational algorithms to describe their methods and present the results from their initial analysis of the seven FlowCAP-II Challenges;
. Allow key representatives of the flow cytometry user community to review and critique the results;
. Discuss how the new computational methods could be improved to meet the needs of the user community;
. Discuss opportunities for additional analytical solutions to solve problems for other data related to flow cytometry

Schedule

Day I
Session 1 Informatics Challenges in Flow Cytometry
Session 2 FlowCAP-II Challenges & Results
Session 3 Poster Session

Day II
Session 3 New Algorithms for FCM Analysis
Session 4 Future of Flow Informatics

Attending FlowCAP-II Summit

Attendance of the workshop is free and open to the public. Advance registration is requested through the registration website<http://www.ficcs.org/meetings/flowcap-2-summit/flowcap-2-registration/>. Posters can be submitted by email to FlowC...@googlegroups.com<mailto:FlowC...@googlegroups.com>. Please indicate in your email if you wish to be considered for oral presentation.

FlowCAP is sponsored by the NIH (NIAID & NIBIB).
