It looks like this group has just become a spam trap over the last few years, and the last "real" post seems to be from sometime in 2009. Is anyone still looking after this project?

I guess it's in maintenance mode, kind of.
The architecture is so hardcoded it's not practical to retrofit it to ipv6, for example; people have switched to alternatives, unless they are not but I still accept fixes.
