With the replication-firestore plugin you can do a two-way realtime replicationbetween your client side RxDB Database and a Cloud Firestore database that is hosted on the Firebase platform. It will use the RxDB Replication Protocol to manage the replication streams, error- and conflict handling.
RxDB requires you to never fully delete documents. This is needed to be able to replicate the deletion state of a document to other instances. The firestore replication will set a boolean _deleted field to all documents to indicate the deletion state. You can change this by setting a different deletedField in the sync options.
Firestore has the enableIndexedDbPersistence() feature which caches document states locally to IndexedDB. This is not needed when you replicate your Firestore with RxDB because RxDB itself will store the data locally already.
If you have not used RxDB before and you already have documents inside of your Firestore database, you haveto manually set the _deleted field to false and the serverTimestamp to all existing documents.
From the results of a query, to a single field of a document, with RxDB you can observe everything. This enables you to build realtime applications fast and reliable. Whenever your data changes, your UI reflects the new state. RxDB supports RxJS and any reactiveness libraries like signals, hooks or vue.js-refs.
RxDB has a simple yet high performance replication protocol that enables you to run a realtime replication between clients and servers. While there are many plugins for specific endpoints like CouchDB, GraphQL, P2P, Firestore or NATS, the protocol is not bound to a specific backend and can be used with any existing infrastructure.
RxDB follows the Offline First paradigm where an application must work as well offline as it does online. This is done by persisting data locally on the client side and replicating it in the background. RxDB can even be used solely on the client side, with no backend at all.
RxDB is based on a storage interface that enables you to swap out the underlying storage engine. This increases code reuse because the same database code can be used in any JavaScript runtime by just switching out the storage settings.

Construction
Volumio Integro is packed in a very nice, double box in which it is placed
amplifier, external power supply and a rudimentary instruction manual. Remote control not included
because the device is controlled from the app.
Volumio Integro is made of solid blue aluminum made with technology
CNC with matte finish, plastic front front. There are two on the front
orange knobs for input selection and volume control, on and off
devices. Between them is a square OLED display that indicates the level
volume or selected source. Also on the front is a headphone jack as standard
6.3mm.
The rear panel of the Volumio Integro contains two digital inputs - coaxial and optical, and an input
analog RCA. There are also two USB A ports on the back for connecting external ones
media or CD drive. We also find an HDMI output, Ethernet input, card slot
SD and subwoofer output.
Volumio's hardware layer is based on Amlogic S905D3-N0N, a 64-bit processor
clocked at 1.9 GHz with four ARM Cortex A55 cores. This high-performance chip
has access to 2GB of fast DDDR4 RAM. The headphone output is based on
Texas Instruments PCM5122 digital-to-analog converter and Texas amplifier module
Instruments TPA6120A2 in class A/B. In addition, the Integro has a Bluetooth 5.0 interface that it supports
aptX low latency.
The Integro amplification stage is based on two Infineon MA12070P chips used in
dual-mono configuration. The terminals work in class D and are powered via the I2S input. Integra it
FDA amplifier (Full Digital Amplifier) - the data stream on the input side is transmitted
directly to the pins via PCM-PWM converters, making it unnecessary
separate DAC chip. Accordingly, the input analog signal is converted
digitized for further processing. This is done by the ADC PCM 1861 chip
by Texas Instruments.
Service
The amplifier is operated using the Volumio application for a smartphone / tablet in the Android system
or macOS. The configuration of the device is very simple. Just connect the network, log in
to your favorite streaming services or connect a drive with files and you can enjoy
music. Setting up a Wi-Fi connection is also trivial. The amplifier is no problem
seen by the native application Tidal, Roon and Mconnect. So we can control
device in four ways depending on our preferences. Cool ! Volumio system
allows you to install additional plug-ins that support additional functions and services, e.g.
FusionDSP, Radio Paradise, YouTube, etc.
"Fusion DSP" is an open source tool that allows you to perform acoustic corrections
room and adjust to personal preference using the parametric equalizer.
To improve room acoustics, use the free REW software
(Room EQ Wizard), available for macOS, Linux and Windows, make the measurement too
using a measurement microphone and then send the calculated correction curves to the plugin
FusionDSP using the USB Integra port. It's a pity that there is no detailed step-by-step instruction,
how to do it. The amplifier does not have a remote control and volume control or change
inputs are done via the Volumio application or knobs on the front of the device. It's not too
convenient solution.
