I'm not quite sure what you mean by "register," but here are two
places to begin.
1. Check with your local city or county to see if you need a business
tax license. (These used to be called occupational licenses.) Try the
city clerk or county tax collector or look on their websites online.
2. Register the name of your business with the state of Florida. It is
called a Fictitious Name Registration and you must do this if the name
of your businesses is anything other than your own name -- even if the
name is very similar. For example, if you named your business Nicolas
Mobile Auto Repair, you must register.
