need some help starting a small home catering business

I would like to start a small home catering business in my home in
FL. I need to know what types of licences, permits.... and everything
else.

I plan on baking and cooking a little but mostly assemble things.

Any help would be wonderful.

Hi,

Check wih your local county or city tax collector to obtain a local
business tax receipt (formerly called an occupational license).

Also, check with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer
Services on licensing requirements for food preparation in your home.

I would also suggest that you consider taking a business startup class
at the Florida Small Business Development Center closest to you. The
SBDCs are not-for-profit centers sponsored by the U.S. Small Business
Administration and Florida universities and colleges. They offer
inexpensive classes and one-on-one counseling. Here's a link to
