Hello...

I have a BS, in Psychology, minor in Criminal Justice, a Certification
as a Trauma Consultant, and (8) yrs. exp. as a School Based
Specialist, working in the Florida school system, while employed at a
mental health agency.

I want to start a behavior management business, where I'm a
consultant, offering non-violent resolutions, to conflicts, and to be
able to charge a fee for the services.

Thus, my question: Is there a state certification, in lieu of a
license; that's offered, where I'd be able to provide the previously
mentioned endeavor.

Hello DW,

I do know know if there is state certification in lieu of a license,
but I would suggest you talk with the Florida Department of Health if
you haven't spoken with them already.
