buying a shelf corp

hi
i am thinking of opening a new business.
i need funding for the startup.
i have seen some vendors selling Shelf corporations with credit
online.
is it advisable to buy such corps?
is it of any help in getting funding?
also there are so many companies claiming of getting corporate credit
of 50-100K.
has anybody gone through such process?
any replies will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond to your question.

I would suggest that you check with a counselor at the not-for-profit
Florida Small Business Development Center closest to you. They offer
one-on-one advice and also inexpensive workshops on starting a
business.

Here is a list of the SBDCs in Florida, most of which are at or near
Florida universities.
