Glad to hear the ride went well. Ours did also. We had easy Solemn 30 mile ride of 50 riders 2 by 2 through the Villages roads. We ended with a police escort to Rick Schoonovers home where we gathered to express condolences to Connie & family. 

I would like a BOD meeting on Dec. 1 or 2. AM or PM.  I'm open as to location and time. Perhaps a restaurant? Suggestions?

May I suggest that the officers and BOD have a meeting in December so that we can get things in order for the January meeting? Earlier in the month is probably better than mid-month.

Yes Bill is not going to be there either. We had a choice to make and the priority seemed obvious to us. There will be other opportunities to get together.

Too bad you couldn't have planned the commemorative ride in junction with our planned outing (or on Sunday)-we have approx 30 people showing up here tomorrow(1/2 the Club), food ordered and some already bought and considerable effort put out to this point partly to try to get the Club rolling again and now our President, ex Vice President and "several other FMs members" will not be showing.  Is Bill Bellew one of those ??

I regret to inform you that Rick Schoonover, a Florida Masters member and a regular rider in the villages, died suddenly last night. He was 57 yrs old, a retired police chief with Va. Beach. We don't have any particulars but there will be an autopsy prior to cremation. I, and several other FMs members send our regrets regarding the planned social ride tomorrow as we will be doing a ride for Rick tomorrow AM then paying our respects to Connie, and their three daughters.

Is there any way to have a BOD meeting in Lakeland, on Saturday evening after the TT events at the Senior Games ? Just an idea.

Dan, I'm sorry to hear of the death of Rick. I did not know him. I will send a letter to his wife, Connie, on behalf of the club--unless you prefer to do it. Just let me know what you would prefer. Regarding a meeting,

I think a meeting on December 1 or 2 would be good for me. Perhaps we can meet someplace in the middle as we have in the past. We could get together on a Skype call to discuss. Regards, Rosie

So sorry all the Masters could not attend the ride for Rick on Saturday but I hear it was a heartfelt moment for all who were there. We should all be so lucky to have so many good friends to support our loved ones in their time if grief.

How is your lovely wife, Judy, doing after her cycling accident? From the reports it sounds like she gave you quite a scare.

We are flexible for the BOD mtg, either the 1st or 2nd can work as of now.
Would somewhere near Bushnell be in the middle logistically? There is a Cracker Barrel near one of the exits that way???
We could host it on the lanai at our home if everyone wants to come this way again??
