Lets keep the TT start time at 11:00 AM as originally proposed. I'll get there well before 11:00 so that we can discuss the various formats with anyone who wants to provide input.

So just to clarify things- President Dan OHara is running this one-as I understand  it there will be a TT and a RR- TT first rider out is 11am Sunday Dec 2,2012. Location is Silver lake in Leesburg-look for tennis courts/Dan's Van /DaveV's RV.-location details earlier in this thread-open to all Club members and any other compatible rider invited by a current member. Distances and formats have not been disclosed by Dan. There will be a BOD meeting at approx 2pm for all current Board of Directors so racing will be finished by then at latest.

All riders please RSVP to this thread so Dan can guesstimate food and drinks.

Volunteers desperately needed to help officiate.

Thank you Dave. I was thinking a 10k TT (approx .) and an 8 lap RR. Input is welcome. For those w/o a TT bike we could classify them Eddie Merckx (road bike).

so that means TT is 2 laps-just under 6 miles( 10km is just over 6 miles so times will be fast-comparatively) 8 laps RR  would be approx 23 miles so again just shy of standard 40km distance-I assume one rider criteria is that you must  be able to count to 8 without outside assistance !!!

Yeah, Eric Lippens and I along with half of the other racers had a problem with counting to eight at last years Sr games.

John Matthews, Byron Becker, Arthur Weaver, Greg Hansen and I will be there for the races.  I won't be doing the time trial, so will be available to help with timing, results, etc.  I plan on doing the road race (and watching most of you lap me, I'm sure).  :)
