Malayalee Association of Central Florida (MACF) Silver Jubilee Onam Celebrations is on August 22nd, 2015 from 11:30 AM at Knanaya Community Center(2620 Washington Rd Valrico FL 33594). We take this opportunity to welcome you all to this great event with your family and friends. MACF Onam program will begin on time with a special introductory presentation featuring different aspects of Kerala and conveying the Onam message.
The preferred dress code:(We are specially inviting you and your family)
Ladies: Kasavu Set Saree or Kasavu Churidar or Kasavu Skirt and Blouse
Men: Mundu and Juba /Shirt

ONAM Chief Guest - Actor BABU ANTONY & FAMLIY
BABU ANTONY, a Fifth Dan Black Belt in martial arts, is the only martial arts expert hero in Malayalam cinema to reach stardom by excelling in racy fight scenes. He made a mark in Malayalam cinema through Fazil's 1986 thriller Poovinu Puthiya Poonthennal. The film was remade into Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi and Babu Antony reprised his role in all the five versions. His career highlights include Vaishali (1988), Aparhnnam , and Uppukandam Brothers, Christian Brothers , Kambolam, Twenty20, Idukki Gold, Chilampu, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya (Tamil & Telugu), Kaavya Thalaivan (Tamil) , Kaakka Muttai (Tamil ) and so on…. He has done over 175 movies in five major Indian languages (Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada). He has played a wide range of roles as hero as well as supporting actor. Some of his movies were featured in national and international film festivals and won recognition. His Wife, Evgeniya Antony, who has a master’s degree in classical music, she plays piano and sings songs. His son Arthur Antony sang for the Malayalam movies - Philips and Monkey Pen.
