MACF Tampa - MACF Silver Jubilee Celebrations- 2015!

Malayalee Association of Central Florida is celebrating its Silver Jubilee, this year. This is going to be a very exciting year for MACF and its members and patrons. The year long Silver Jubilee celebrations will include a lot of activities showcasing MACF’s past, present and future. The Silver Jubilee of MACF will commence with the inaugural function on February 21, 2015.  

 

The Silver Jubilee Special Activity Committee consists of prominent Malayalee leaders and the talented people of Tampa Bay Area who will unite and work with 2015 MACF president, Mrs. Sheela Kutty. The executive committee will be announced as soon as the elected committee members are assigned different positions and responsibilities.

 

Here are the tentative dates of MACF events

• ·         Indian Republic Day Celebration by FIA – Sunday January 18^th
• ·         MACF Silver Jubilee Inauguration --  Feb 21^st  ( Chief Guest – Malayalam Movie Actress Isha Talwar)
• ·         ONAM  -  August 29^th / August 30th (Will finalize within a week)
• ·         Christmas/ NewYear  --  December 26^th

We are planning lot of other activities such as Youth Festival , Vallam Kali etc as part of the celebration, will announce the date and venue soon..

Below given is FIA of Tampa Bay’s Republic Day activities for your notice. Please circulate among your friends and families and encourage their participation. We encourage our members to participate in the following competitions.

(a)    Rangoli Competition – Jan 18^th, 9 am

(b)   Cooking competition – Jan 18^th, 9 am

(c)    Patriotic Character Competition – Jan 18^th, 12 pm

(d)   Essay writing competition (Middle and High school students)– Jan 18^th, 9 am

 If any Group items needs to be presented on Jan 18^th for FIA program, please contact Sheela Kutty @ 727 946 6554. MACF is presenting the Chenda Melam, Thiruvathira and a Kerala Booth on Jan 18^th at ICC Hall.
