Biweekly Uposatha program ========================================= Note: (starting February every 2nd and 4th Sunday)
Our Meditation & Dhamma Sunday continues January 30th 9:30 - 10:30am. The Sunday program is open to the public for providing a better theoretical understanding of the teachings of the Buddha according to the earliest Buddhist sources (Pali Canon). This year we will start with a new topic - we will read, discuss and contemplate a series of in-depth articles by the Ven. Bhikkhu Analayo: "From Craving to Liberation". You can get the course material for free here.
We finished our Jhana introduction course (Level II) last Sunday. The next course for those of you who have attended to the first one and are curious for more, will start in March - details will follow. For all others, this Sunday we will start the next level "Jhana mastery (Level III)" and also a Vipassana introduction course (Level I) for all those who feel strongly about their concentration practice. The Vipassana introduction course will be from 1pm - 2pm and will be bi-weekly. The advanced jhana course will continue from 2pm-3pm. Our "Immersive Pali Course" class will continue as well on Sunday, January 30th (from 7:15am - 9am) - Pali beginners and pros are all welcome.
(Instructor: Lennart Lopin) Sri Lankan Matara Nyanarama/Nyanananda System.
