Dear friends,
A few days ago we received the following email (see below) from Kristi - she is working for an international non-profit organization organizing a home and school for foreign exchange students (http://usa.international-experience.net/)

They have been desperately trying to find a home for Buddhist kids to live and study in Florida (since December, unsucessfully!).  We got in touch with Kristi and promised her to see if we can help their noble cause - to provide foreign (in this case Asian Buddhist) kids with the opportunity to live here in the US for a year or half a year and improve their English and learn more about America (and maybe Buddhism ;-)

In case you are interested, you can give Kristi a call or also call me at 941 587 1004.

This would a wonderful opportunity for true generosity and hospitality and even though times are tough maybe some of you are able to open their homes and welcome these kids.

Lots of metta,
Lennart

My name is Kristi Artenian and I help a not for profit organization called International Experience. We find homes for high school foreign exchange students. I have a few girls coming, from Thailand, that practice Buddhism and I want to, hopefully, find them a home with someone that shares their interests so they can continue to practice here in America. I was wondering if you would be able to ask anyone in your contacts if they would be interested in hosting? Please have anyone contact me if they are interested and let me know if you can help in any way. Attached is some more information about our organization and below is some more information about one of our students that I need to find a home for.

Thank you so much for your time.

Best Wishes,
