Wind chill advisory in effect from 2 am to 9 am est Monday.
The NWS in melbourne has issued a wind chill advisory, which is in effect
from 2 am to 9 am est Monday.
Temperatures are expected to fall below freezing tonight into the upper 20s
over the interior of east central Florida and along the volusia county coast
to around 30 to the lower 30s from the brevard county coast southward along
the treasure coast. Northwest winds overnight into the early morning hours
will be near 10 mph at times creating wind chill values in the lower to mid
20s over the advisory area during the late night hours.
Precautionary/preparedness actions,
A wind chill advisory means that cold air and strong winds will combine to
generate low wind chills. If you venture outdoors, dress warmly in layers
and make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
