The NWS in jacksonville has issued a hard freeze warning, which is in effect
from 9 pm this evening to 10 am est Wednesday. A freeze watch has also been
issued from Wednesday evening through Thursday morning. The freeze warning
for tonight has been cancelled and upgraded to a freeze warning.
A very cold airmass will continue over the area tonight and wednesday night.
Temperatures will begin to fall below freezing before midnight tonight, with
durations of sub-freezing temperatures likely near 10 to 14 hours inland.
Minimum temperatures are expected to range from the low to mid 20s inland,
to near 30 along the coast.
A freeze watch is in effect for Wednesday night. Sub-freezing temperatures
may persist for up to 8 to 10 hours inland.

the middle to upper 20s with a few normally colder locations reaching the
lower 20s. Elevated northwest winds around 10 mph will create very low wind
chill values into the upper teens to lower 20s over the warning area this
evening through the early morning hours Wednesday.
