Gentlemen,
My apologies for the errors.

Gentlemen,
It's Crunch time now. As you are already aware, you have done a great job making Targets ahead of schedule. 75% will again easily be attained by most of you. This continues to show who is really working the Membership and who is just lagging behind to hopefully come around in the end. This again is a job for District and Area Commanders to find out why these Squadrons are under strength this later in the year. This is the time when we become busy with many other things but Membership Matters. I hope our Competition with the Legion and Auxiliary are on your minds. To show to everyone what a driving force we have been in the growth of our great organizations will resonate not only here in Florida but throughout our National Family Members as well. Be it a Gator, Flamingo or Cabanaboy it shows the comradery that flourishes and we take it to heart to work together. Nationally we are a model of success.  We can all be a model of success in each of our Squadrons if we just do what we do. Never feel you have to do it alone. Those of us who see others struggle, remember another powerful statement that The Legion Family has adopted. Be The One! Thankfully this can apply not only to suicide prevention but in everyday life struggles and for anyone.
Please make sure you are contacting your members from 2024-2025 as they are delinquent. Nationally we sit in 9th place at 81.33% and a Renewal Rate of 71.07%. This Renewal Rate will not get us to our goal. We need to bring this up at least 20 points or better. We can get there. Do your Buddy Checks and Membership Drives.
District 9 Jesse Bogle still holds 1st place with 88.89%. District 8 Mark Kahn is a close 2nd with 86.91% and District 14 Wayne Schorr is 3rd with 86.71%. Great work!!!! We have 14 of 16 Districts at or above target. Big Changes in Area top ranking but the numbers are tightening. How will we finish???  Southern Area Michael Mathias has taken over 1st Place with 87.27%. SW Area Robert Medley is 2nd with 85.96% and Danny Roe holds on to 3rd place with 84.26%.  We have all 6 Areas at or above Goal. Again well done Gentlemen!
To reach our All time high goal of  Membership we need to consistently hit 500-550 membership transmittals weekly from now on.

Items of Note:

  • 195 Squadrons with one new on the books.
  • 2 Zero Squadrons – Keep at this
  • 105 Squadrons @ target
  • 14 @ 100%.
  • 18 @ 105%
  • 56 Squadrons Short of Target that is 28.72% of Detachment this needs work!!!
District and Area Commanders get to work on the struggling Squadrons

God Bless and Stay Safe,

Paul J. Stawicki
Membership Chairman
