National Convention

Gentlemen,

This email is for anyone that has expressed interest in attending the National Convention as a Delegate

from the Detachment. There seems to be some confusion or misconceptions that I would like to correct. In addition, the National Convention Registration forms from the Department are attached, and the current list of Delegates that have expressed interest in attending the Convention.

Let's first start off in clearing up the term, Delegate, Alternate, and Guest.

 The Detachment is allotted Delegates based on our Membership. The close of that deadline is July 22nd, 2025. Currently, the Detachment has 56 Delegates, and one-at-large Delegate for Past National Commander Jim Roberts. Registration for each Delegate is $35.00 per and is covered by the Detachment. Any Alternates above the 56 Delegates will also be paid for by the Detachment. Any guest must be paid by you to the Detachment @ $35.00 per guest. Please look at the enclosed list to make sure your name is listed correctly, and your Squadron number is correct. This list is from the members that expressed interest in attending the National Convention during our past Detachment Convention.

On the National Convention Registration from Department Headquarters, you only need to complete, Sections #1, #2, and #5. Section #4 is for events that the Department is hosting. You may attend if you so choose. Please keep in mind that the SAL meetings start on Friday, August 22nd and conclude with the election of National Commander on Sunday, August 24th. Again, do not include registration to Department. This is taken care of by the Detachment.

There will be a Friday night Social at the Dallas Bull starting at 7:00pm. We have three buses that will be taking people from the JW Mariott to the Dallas Bull. Wear your best Country Outfit!!!
