PNC Smith has sent out again and  we are forwarding this National Commission & Committee zoom call schedule.  We encourage our Chairman to listen in on the zoom calls. I encourage you to get involved

My suggestion is to just listen in the 1st few times till you get the feel for the call and as a reminder you are representing the Detachment of Florida on the call so please use respect & decorum.

HELLO TO ALL:

I hope all of you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The new 2026 Commission and Committee Zoom Meetings will be back in full swing starting Monday January 12th. Everyone one of you have been assigned to serve as a Liaison  on the  C/C  of your choice. Remember, part of your duties as an NEC is to be on the zoom meetings when scheduled. I have attached the zoom meeting call links and the calendar of when each C/C is meeting. Most of you have been attending the meetings in the past but I have noticed some of you have not been on any calls. This is unacceptable. I am on every meeting so I know who is fulfilling his duty as a NEC and who is not. You are doing a disservice to your Detachment and the National Organization if you are not  participating as expected. 

I would like to give a shout to George Rice from Maine. Geaorge has been on every call for every C/C in addition to his assignment. I talked to him about this and he said "As a new NEC this gives me a lot of insight as to what each C/C is trying to accomplish and I can bring back many new ideas to the Detachment of Maine." It would be great if many other NEC's joined in with George's enthusiasm. The more all of you get involved with other C/C's the more information can be given to all the Detachments across the country. Mr. Rice, you are an example everyone should follow. Thank you for all you do.

Keep up all the good work you all do in your Detachments and I look forward to seeing you on the upcoming zoom meetings.
