Gentlemen,
September is on the way out. Summer is almost gone. Now we look forward to the Holidays and the Snowbirds so no Excuses. Right? Are you and your Squadrons meeting the goals?. Do not hold membership cards even if you have only 1 to submit. Have you sent your Membership Mailers out or have you had a Membership Drive yet? In order for us to accomplish Commander Nigbor's Goal this Year We must be doing all of these things and we must always be putting in membership. We will need the great work that the Squadrons do each year out of the gate and make those target dates each and every one!! District and Area Commanders MUST stay on top of the Zero Squadrons and get them up to speed.If you see a Squadrons Membership not moving for a few weeks FIND OUT WHY!! Falling behind is not an option this year as we have a Commander's Goal of 30,000 Members.
Now that I have said this 3 weeks in a row, TELL US!! District Officers send me a short email on how you feel your District is doing and what you are doing about your ZEROS. If I don't hear from you Area Commanders then it's up to you to find out what is going on. We have one less Zero and one more 100%. But I wasn't concerned because I received nd update from the District Commander
This past week I heard from NO ONE! Please District Commanders Send me what I asked for these LAST WEEKS!!! Area Commanders Please get with this and contact your Districts and let's COMMUNICATE!!!
1 Area, Southern Area Michael Mathias is at 29.53% GREAT JOB!! He leads because 2 of 3 Districts are in our top three leading membership. Northern Area Denton Woods is in Second with 26.80% and Third is Eastern Area Danny.Roe District 9 Jesse Bogle Commander Still leads Detachment with 36.32%. District 4 Steven McKim Commander in 2nd Place with 27.70% Great Work and a new face and District 5 Darien Smith Commander in 3rd with 25.31%. All 13 other Districts are below 25% Goal. Stay focused and do what I know the Detachment of Florida Sons of The American Legion can do and Get 'Er Done!
