Since today is Tax Day, most of us are busy filing paperwork and meeting deadlines. 💰

While you’re already in the paperwork mindset, take a moment to submit your articles, photos, and updates for the May edition of The Source so we can continue highlighting the great work happening across the Detachment.

After all, as members of the Sons of The American Legion, showing a little C.A.R.E. — Communicate • Act • Recruit • Educate — also means sharing the great things our squadrons are doing.

As we approach the end of the 2025–2026 Service Year, remember that the June edition will be the final issue before our 54th Annual Detachment Convention (June 11–14, 2026), and there will be no edition published in July.

So after you finish filing those taxes… file one more thing - your submission!

All Area and District Commanders should be submitting an article each month, as well as all Committee & Commission Chairmen. 

Squadron Commanders - You can submit an article too!

This is YOUR Newsletter. We'd like to see more information about what's happening in your areas, districts and squadrons than we would advertisement for events. Highlights of something that your squadrons or a squadron member has done is also encouraged. Highlights will be featured in 'The Source Spotlight'.
