Gentlemen,

We are now half way through October and well on our way to the Holidays. This next Goal of 35% on November 6th is important as those that reach the goal will have a Certificate of Achievement to take home from Conference. How is your Squadron doing? Are you meeting your Goals this year? Have you had any Events, helped the Post and Community? Have you told anyone but your Post? Remember there is Social Media and of course the Source each Month that I feel we are still not using enough.Get the word out there to all of us!! These are all things in addition to making Membership what we should all be doing as the Sons of The American Legion every year. District and Area Commanders MUST stay on top of all of your  Squadrons and get them up to speed. Area and District Commanders, what's your Visitation Calendar look like? Do you know what your Squadrons are doing? If you see a Squadrons Membership not moving for a few weeks FIND OUT WHY!! Falling behind is not an option this year as we have a Commander's Goal of 30,000 Members. Yes I do keep saying these things as I feel some of us are still not working the Plan to Success. TELL US!! District Officers send me a short email on how you feel your District is doing and what you are doing about your ZEROS. If I don't hear from you Area Commanders then it's up to you to find out what is going on. I have heard from some of you. But the majority of you and especially the trouble spots I have heard NOTHING! Get 'Er Done!!! Please District Commanders Send me what I asked for these  LAST WEEKS!!!  Area Commanders Please get with this and contact your Districts and let's COMMUNICATE!!!

We have 2 Areas over 35%, Southern Area Michael Mathias is at 40.29% GREAT JOB!! . Northern Area Denton Woods is in Second with 35.71%. District 9 Jesse Bogle Commander Still leads Detachment with 51.59%. District 4 Steven McKim Commander in 2nd Place with 39.57%. District 5 Darien Smith Commander  in 3rd with 38.73%. District12  Comes in 4th at 35.89%. Well done to the 4 Districts already above 35% Everyone else We have some work to do. Stay focused and do what I know the Detachment of Florida Sons of The American Legion  can do and Get 'Er Done!
