I have had several communications regarding what may happen to the MySAL portal. I am not really sure. Below is possibly some of the answer to those question. I have also be ask about having to redo paperwork to get new log-ins passwords. I have no information regarding this question but with that said I might guess that when the new portal is opened up it might, just might ask for you to update your password. This is a normal function when system changes and/or up grades take place. I am sure that we will work through this and again it my not cause any issues at all. Please keep hand written records in case something does happen during this change over.
Most importantly please be patient. Get your membership submitted before the shut down to avoid the mad dash when the system is switched over. Everyone will be try to do the same when the system is restarted.
Many of you may be aware that National has been working on an improved version of their MyLegion.org and MySAL membership portals. The time has finally come for the new release.
Please note that MyLegion.org and MySAL will be inoperable March 26 – April 1, 2021, while National completes the conversion to the improved platform.
Please communicate this information with all your Squadrons that are or maybe using MySAL. It is very important that they get this notice.
