Welcome Gentlemen to February and our 75% Goal. Congratulations on achieving another goal with gusto!!! Many of you are doing a fantastic job of getting ahead of the curve as we preach every year.Great job. The Squadrons that are lagging behind sadly may be our downfall this year if We can not bring them up to par. There just aren't enough over producing Squadrons to offset  the underproducing ones. As was stated we need to keep up the Membership numbers to at least 500 transmittals per week, This week we barely broke 400. If We had the under performing Squadrons to be at least at our Goals we would be on target to meet Commander's Goal of 30,000 Members. I challenge all of the District Commanders and staff as well as Area Vice Commanders to find a way to get your problem Squadrons to Goal. Do what you must to get them there. Contact your legion counterparts to help. It is their Responsibility as well as yours to see the Program of The Sons of The American Legion Squadrons through to success. Do not be afraid to ask for help. Make it your responsibility to help your struggling Squadrons. This is your Task at Hand till the end of the Year.
District 9 Commander Jesse Bogle is still holding 1st Place with 90.02% District 8 Commander Mark Kahn is in 2nd Place with 89.22% and third Place is District 14 Wayne Schorr with 88.33%. Great work but keep an eye on your under performing Squadrons. Which one of you will reach 100% first or will it be another District to sneak in and take the lead? All Areas are at or above 75%. All but the  Western Area have reached 80% or better. Well done now help your District Commanders. Southern Area Michael Mathias is in 1st Place with 88.66%. Southwestern Area Robert Medley is 2nd with 87.37%. Danny Roe Eastern Area is in 3rd with 85.71%.

Items of Note:

  • 195 Squadrons with one new on the books.
  • 2 Zero Squadrons – Lets see these go away
  • 105 Squadrons @ target
  • 11 @ 100%. Way to Go
  • 24 @ 105% Excellent work
  • 53 Squadrons Short of Target that is 27.18% of Detachment this needs work!!!
District and Area Commanders get to work on the struggling SquadronsGod

God Bless and Stay Safe,
