Thank you Freewheelers for a great adventure. Last year I worked with
my sister Flamingos at one of the best SAG stops.

This year I rode my first Century. I signed up for 70 miles but when I
got to the turn off for 100 milers, I waived bye to my group and
turned left-- what a ride! Before turning off to do the hundred, i
thought the weather is great, im feeling ok, if I'm ever going to do a
century today is the best day to do it. I did not walk up any of the
hills, I rode up every hill including The Wall, Buck Hill, and
Sugarloaf. It was a grueling ride but I did it- the SAG stops were
great-- I stopped at all but two of them. I was excited when I finally
caught up with other 100 milers and I thought after Buck Hill and
SugArloaf that there were noire serious hills-- but there were MORE
and MORE hills. I finished in 8 hrs and 12 minutes.

The SAG stops were spaced out perfectly and the food was good at the
end of the ride-- it was a very well managed ride-one of the best
rides that I have participated in.

Until next year-- I hope-- thank you Florida Freewheelers for helping
to make this a great ride.

Thanks Julie. The Flamingos taught me a lot. I learned a lot from the
rides. I can't remember all of the ride leaders, but they were great,
especially Lynn, Msrget, the husband/wife team leaders, Orley and
others.
