Team Armada's next Time Trial (#4 in a series) is scheduled for
Sunday, March 30th in Lake Mary/Sanford. First rider on course at 9:00
AM. This is a 4.1-mile, non-technical, point-to-point flat course (no
turn-around). Show up, register, line up and go! On-site registration
starts at 8:00 AM.
New for this event is a Team Time Trial--suggested by Cori Downing
(Glory Racing)--so this should be an interesting race. Teams can have a
minimum of 2 riders and a maximum of 4. The team's time is determined
by the elapsed time of the 2nd team rider to cross the finish line.
By the way, Cori plans to help train BOBbies members to put together
one or two teams for the Women's Team Time Trial. She wrote in their
blog... "We need to prove to any other women's team that might show up
that we're the best!" They sound like fighting words to me, and I
think the Flamingos need to answer that challenge with their own
teams. Besides, the FFW Prez knows a thing or two about time trialing,
and I am sure he would be willing to help the flock :o)

(about 30 miles) after the event.

We spoke about this date before, and we are likely
to be in Ocala that morning. But if the Flamingo's get a group in a future
event, I would hesitantly say "sure" to joining. Ugh, I have got to get in
better shape and I need a bike fit too

Just "bumping" this one up as a reminder for those of you who are
interested in time trialing. Weather promises to be fine for this
event, which includes a Team Time Trial. Come join us this Sunday for
the "Race of Truth." We have cash prizes, medals, and trophies for the
winners. TTs are great fun and perfect for checking your fitness.
And after the races we're having a 30-mile group ride through Sanford,
around Lake Monroe, and back.
Hope you can join us!

P.S. The BOBbies said they would have a girls team to prove they're
the best. I wonder if the Flamingos will step up to the challenge :o)

I'm in - for both the ITT and as part of the Glory Racing Team TT.
I know other FFWs - the 2 Daves - Viney and Benzel - are also in.
