At the March 2015 meeting the NACNS Board of Directors approved the formation of a Psych-Mental Health CNS Competencies Task Force
In keeping NACNS efforts to develop CNS Competencies for all populations identified in the APRN Consensus Model, the Board is seeking NACNS member volunteers for this task force. Interested task force volunteers should be involved in the psych-mental health field, have an interest in competency development and have 1 -2 hours a week available for a meeting via conference call. Some work beyond the conference call meetings will periodically be needed. Volunteers with experience in competency development will also be considered.
This task force will begin its work in late April - June 2015. It is anticipated the work will take 9 - 12 months to complete, depending on the frequency the task force meets.
If you are interested, please send an email that includes a 1- 2 paragraph description of why you are interested in participating on this task force and your CV. Volunteer submissions will be accepted until April 12, 2015.
Please send an email expressing your interest to in...@nacns.org. Please note Psych-mental health in the subject line.
