1. When assigning a custom domain, the select box in the form "Assign custom URL" contains not all domains that are created in the Google Apps account. In my case there are several identically created aliases. Out of these the select box shows only 1 domain that was created before installing Editey as an App Engine app and all domains that were created after installing it. It is a UI bug only. Editing the HTML of the select box enables adding any domains that are created in the Google Apps and mapping succeeds.

2. Once the domain is mapped, the server response to plain GET to the domain is shown as binary. It actually contains a text file with a JSON file tree. That tree it taken from the Editey workspace file list. Trying to access the file with a full URL (e.g. domain.com/index.html) gives a Google hosted services standard 404 error. This clearly shows that a domain is routed wrongly inside Editey.

While the first bug has a simple work-around and occurs in certain scenarios only, the second bug is critical and makes the whole domain mapping functionality useless. Has anyone succeeded mapping a domain and seeing its output identical to the googledrive.com/host/*** ?

It used to work - but Google again may have changed something on their end.
I'll try to reproduce this on my end...

This is happening to me as well.  I have many sites I have hosted without issue but now I am getting a json download when I try to load the site.  Not sure what is going on.  I get a 404 as well when I go to the index.html file as well.  Something must be wrong.

I am also getting JSON download as Lou Gallo described below. Please advise.
