Repeating sections - Min/Max Counts and Input Variables

It would be great if Min/max counts for repeating fields could be controlled by "number" variables entered in prior fields.
For example, if I ask "How many companies have you worked for before?" and the user provides a number, say 4...
I want to be able to demand that they fill in a repeating block at least 3 times (pretty standard minimum requirement)
min = 3
and max the number they answered in the how many field
max = ${howmany}

or if I am asking "How big is your baseball team?"
and they answer 6
I want to be able to use a repeating block to ask for the "names and shirt numbers" of all the team members, no more, no less.

I tried entering the ${variable} in the minmax fields but it said "NO".

Thoughts, feedback, suggestions?

Thanks for the feature request, makes sense!

I'll put it on the list.

This would only work if the repeating section would use an existing variable (e.g. a variable that has been entered on a previous form / page).
