I have begun using Editey to work on a web page with my friends; however, we have encountered a problem with css. We cloned one of the template websites from Editey. The first time we loaded the template webpage, the CSS worked, but after we tried writing our own CSS and HTML files, it stopped working. The CSS won't load, even when we reopened the template website.It's as if the HTML can't reference the CSS that is saved in the google drive.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
Ravi.

This issue is really not just something you're experiencing. I know this reply seems a little late, but Editey really doesn't work all that well when trying to connect other files. You should trying inline styling. So, in other words;

<head><title></title>
<style>

</style>
</head>

That should work for your css. I'm still trying to get my images to load.

You'll have to launch a workspace and add the files to the workspace. This is the only way to get relative links to work.

I know this sounds like a silly question, but I can't find any documentation on this - how do you launch a workspace?

I've created files wholly withing Editey and tried to link them with no success. Do I need to share them, somehow?

To be honest, I never really could figure out how to launch a workspace, but I normally make the files open and publish them underneath File on the HTML file. It usually does the trick. I really just wish Google Drive would create a separate Google Space for developers, they already have an API library.

There is a hidden file with no extension with the name of workspace I can only find it under recent. I can make the editey folder show up I do know there is 7 of them.

Hi,

You right-click the workspace file and choose to open it with Editey.
