We are humans, and our knowledge, wisdom and understanding is laughably small compared to God's. As far as salvation is concerned, God will save whomever God wants to save. I think and believe God wants to save everyone, and has eternity in which to accomplish that.

I don't think there is a hell for non-believers, or even a hell for evildoers. I don't believe in God condemning folks to eternal torment for finite evil. I cannot love a God who tortures people. Our human disobedience doesn't deserve eternal punishment.

I love Miriam's example of loving our children. We are God's children, and obviously God is a far superior parent than we. Just as we wouldn't throw a beloved child into a lake of fire for ANY reason; God will not harm His beloved children.

I do think people experience a kind of "hell" when they are separated from God. We are created to be in love with God, and to be apart from God is hell. I don't think God adds any additional punishment to His lost ones. God only has compassion for the lost.

Love in Christ,
Kimberly

It is stated very cleanly in the NT that unless a person/good or bad,/
accepts Christ as their personal savior they cannot see heaven. Hell is real
so says Jesus. We are all God's children but not all of God's children will
be saved. We must work on that.
