This is a big one. The Day of Pentecost. The scripture for next
Sunday's sermon is Acts 2:1-21, the account of the Holy Spirit pouring
out on the church. Things on my mind are how do we make the holy
spirit real? It can not be seen or heard, or touched (or, can it be?)
And often times people are weary of the Holy spirit. What does this
spirit mean in the church? I guess it has alot to do with what we
consider our gifts to be and how we can use them. Does someone need to
know their gifts? And if they don't have one of the "BIG" gifts, what
does that mean. By big, I mean healing, interpreting tongues, ability
to perform miracles, etc.

What evidence have you seen of the holy spirit dwelling in the life of
First Christian Church in Flora. Or in individual lives?

Thanks for your input last week. It was helpful. I hope we can grow
this group from 4 to many more. Share the web site with your friends.
